The insert is available in two versions, without overflow and with a controlled overflow.

The version without overflow is intended for indoor use and covered spaces. The version with a controlled overflow is intended for outdoor use, as it drains excess water and protects the root from oversaturation during rainfall.

Both versions function as a natural water reservoir, reducing evaporation and the need for frequent watering. Through a capillary feeding system, plants evenly draw moisture from the bottom layer of drainage granules, most often made of expanded clay or volcanic lava. It is necessary to place a geotextile barrier between the substrate and the drainage layer to prevent the two materials from mixing.
